  1. Jaber Karimpour, Ph.D., Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Tabriz.  Area of study: Computer Systems. Thesis Topic: A Formal Method for Compositional Specification and Verification of Component-Based Software Systems.  Jaber graduated in February 2009, with excellent standing, and currently is an assistant professor here in University of Tabriz at my department. Congratulations Dr. Karimpour!
  2. Mohsen Heydarian, Ph.D., Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Tabriz. Area of study: Computer Systems. Thesis Topic: Optimal Multicast Data Transmission Supporting Quality of Services in Computer Networks. Mohsen graduated in January 2010, with excellent standing, and currently is an assistant professor in Azerbaijan University of Tarbiat Moallem. Congratulations Dr. Heydarian!
  3. Habib Izadkhah , Ph.D., Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Tabriz. Area of study: Computer Systems. Thesis Topic: Extracting Dynamic and Adaptive Software System Architecture from Source Code. Habib graduated in September 2013, with excellent standing, and soon is going to get involved as an assistant professor here in University of Tabriz at my department. Congratulations Dr. Izadkhah!
  4. Jaber Karimpour, M.Sc., Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Tabriz.  Thesis Topic: Non-Linear Systems Indentification using Neural Networks.  Jaber graduated in June 2000, and went on completing his Ph.D. work as the entry above.
  5. Mohsen Heydarian, M.Sc., Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Tabriz.  Thesis Topic: Optimized Congestion Control in Networks with Multicast Services.  Mohsen graduated in June 2002, and went on completing his Ph.D. work as the entry above.
  6. Nahid Jafari, M.Sc., Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Tabriz.  Thesis Topic: Software Reuse, Classification and Retrieval.  Nahid graduated in October 2002, involved for some years in academic activities here in Tabriz local universities, and went on completing her PhD degree in Statistics and Operations Research from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, 2013.  Currently in University of Florida, Nahid is a postdoctoral research associate, working as an Operations Research Scientist. Good luck Nahid; looking forward to your further academic and professional achievements. 
  7. Sanya Attari, M.Sc., Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Qazvin.  Thesis Topic: An Optimal Hybrid Approach for Processor Allocation in Mesh-Connected Multiprocessors.  Sanya graduated in December 2006, involved for some years in academic activities here in Tabriz local universities, and went on completing her PhD degree in the Department of Computer Science of VirginiaTech, Virginia, USA.  Currently in San Francisco Bay Area, Sanya is working in US industry, including Cisco, Security Products, User Experience, and Human Computer Interactions.   8. Yaser Seif, M.Sc. Student, Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Tabriz.  Completed his Course Requirements, prepared an M.Sc. Thesis and in 2006 defended, unsuccessfully, resulting in some revisions.  So far the revisions are not completed.  I hear that he has left the university, claiming to be an M.Sc. graduate!  The way in which he may have obtained any document confirming his M.Sc. degree can be neither academic nor ethical. As far as I am concerned Mr. Seif does not yet have an M.Sc. degree. I strongly advise him to return back to school and correct his unethical way of, what he considers, graduation!
  9. Mehdi Ayar, M.Sc., Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Qazvin.  Thesis Topic: A Distributed CCA Framework for Component Based Systems.  Mehdi graduated in May 2007, and currently is involved in academic activities at Islamic Azad University, Shabestar.

Morteza Abbaszadeh, M.Sc., Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Qazvin.  Thesis Topic: Database Replication: Availability and Consistency Trade-off.  Morteza graduated in May 2007, and currently is involved in academic activities at Islamic Azad University, Sofian.
  11. Hooshmand Alipour, M.Sc., Department of Computer Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Qazvin.  Thesis Topic: Software Reliability Assessment Based on a Formal Requirements Specification.  Hooshmand graduated in August 2008, and currently is involved in academic activities, as a Faculty Member, at Islamic Azad University, Parsabad.

Davood Yari, M.Sc., Department of IT Engineering, Shiraz University.  Thesis Topic: Applying Wed Advanced Technologies in Design, Analysis and implementation of Project Management System.  Davood graduated in September 2008, and currently working with the Ministry of Education on the implementation and deployment of his Web-Based Project Management System, introduced in his thesis.   14. Yahya Ghanbarzadeh, M.Sc., Department of Computer Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Shabestar. Thesis Topic: A Comparison and Analysis of Different Compositional Mechanisms of Scenarios on Scenario-Based to State-Based Model Synthesis Approaches. Yahya graduated in September 2009, and currently is an instructor at Islamic Azad University of Bonab.

Ahmad Heidari, M.Sc., Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Zanjan.  Thesis Topic: Detecting Wormhole Attack in Wireless Ad hoc Networks.  Ahmad graduated in October 2010, and currently is involved in academic activities at local universities, leading the Informatics Department of Islamic Azad University of Khosro-shahr, while his long-term objective is to pursue his doctoral program.

  25. Adeleh Abadi, M.Sc., Department of Computer Science, Aras International Campus of University of Tabriz. Thesis Topic: . . . . . . .   Adeleh graduated in 2012, and currently is involved in academic activities at local universities, while her long-term objective is to pursue her graduate work, obtaining her Ph.D. degree in a prestigious university.   26. Siamack Ganbarzadeh, M.Sc., Department of Computer Science, Aras International Campus of University of Tabriz. Thesis Topic: A New Model for Classifying Data, Based on Ant Colony Algorithm and Fuzzy Logic. Siamack graduated in July 2012 and currently is the Information Technology Specialist and Administrator of Oracle in a local Social Security Organization.

Bahman Arasteh, M.Sc., Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Arak.  Thesis Topic: Investigation and Optimization of Static Scheduling in Multiprocessor Systems.  Bahman graduated in November 2006, and currently is a Ph.D. Student in the area of Software Engineering, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Tehran Science and Research Branch. He is also an active member of faculty at Islamic Azad University of Tabriz.
  2. Roya Bazzazi, M.A., Department of English Language and Litratur, University of Tabriz.  Thesis Topic: Computer Assisted Language Teaching and L2 Vocabulary Learning.  Roya graduated in January, 1999.
  3. Ali Salimi, M.Sc., Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Tabriz.  Thesis Topic: Finding and Analyzing The Cholesky Factors.  Ali graduated in August, 1998, and currently is involved in academic activities at local universities.

Mohammad Ali Tayebi, B.Sc., Department of Computer Science, University of Tabriz.  Graduated in 2005, Mohammad Ali went on and received his M.Sc. degree, in Computer Science, from Amir Kabir University of Technology, Tehran, and will be starting his Ph.D. program at a University in the USA - Good luck, Mohammad, and let me know which university you decided to attend.
  4. Homa Mahmoudirad , B.Sc., Department of Computer Science, University of Tabriz.  Graduated in 2005, Homa went on and started an M.Sc. program, in Entrepreneurship Management, at University of Tehran, Tehran. She is planning to continue her graduate studies in Australia, in the field of IT Management. Good luck Homa.

  7. Mohammad Amin Farajian , B.Sc., Department of Computer Science, University of Tabriz.  Graduated in 2005, Mohammad Amin went on, obtained an M.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, and currently is in military service.

Yassin Refahi, B.Sc., Department of Computer Science, University of Tabriz.  Graduated in 2006, Yassin went on and completed his M.Sc. degree in University of Paul Verlaine, Metz, France, in July 2008, and his Ph.D. degree at Université de Montpellier 2, France. Leyla Assadzadeh, B.Sc., Department of Computer Science, University of Tabriz.  Graduated in 2006, Leyla went on and started an M.Sc. program, in Software Engineering, at University of Isfahan, Isfahan. I earned my B.S in computer science from University of Tabriz, 2007 (as CS81). I was ranked 5th in National Graduate Studies Entrance Exam in 2008, and started my MSc in IT Engineering (Computer Networks) at Sharif University of Technology and graduated in 2010. I will start my PhD in Computer Science in Fall 2013 at University of Minnesota, USA.
  17. Navid Emamdoost, B.Sc., Department of Computer Science, University of Tabriz.  Graduated in 2007, as a CS81, Navid went on and ranked 5th in 2008 National Graduate Studies Entrance Exam and started an M.Sc. program in IT Engineering (Computer Networks) at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran. Currently, he is preparing for a trip to the USA, where as of Fall 2013, he is starting a PhD program at University of Minnesota in Computer Science. Congratulations Navid and good luck.
  18. Mehran Davoudi, B.Sc., Department of Computer Science, University of Tabriz.  Graduated in 2007, Mehran went on and received his M.Sc. degree, in IT Engineering (e-Commerce), at Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran. He is currently pursuing a successful career with Carane Resource Planning Systems, as a Production Manager, leading a large team of expert developers, developing a powerful ERP called CERP.   19. Salma Kheiravar, B.Sc., Department of Computer Science, University of Tabriz.
